This particular play is based primarily on strong/relevant ATS statistics and common sense:
As note that Miami has seen the total go OVER the number in two of its last three after seeing the total go UNDER in three or more straight contests, while UNC has seen the total go OVER in three of its last four in trying to revenge a blowout loss of 15 points or more.
The bottom line: We had a play on Miami yesterday and we actually like its chances again today. That said, after the Tar Heels closed the regular season by posting 90 points against the Blue Devils, it's not too hard to imagine revenge minded UNC also running away with this one. So we'll stick to the total. We're expecting North Carolina to push the pace of this one from the outset though and to keep the foot on the gas from start to finish as it looks to take advantage of what has to be a winded Hurricanes team.
