(NCAAB) Fresno State vs. TCU,
Total: 143.00 | -115.00 Over
Result: Win
This is a 10* NIT OPENING ROUND SUPER TOTAL on the UNDER between Fresno State and TCU.

We don't subscribe to any single handicapping methodology, but instead feel that being flexible with ones approach is the best way to secure profits over the longterm. Sometimes we keep it simple, while other times we'll take into account numerous different factors, like motivation, scheduling and significant injuries. Recognizing classic "spot bets" is something we always do as well, IE: the "look ahead" spot, the "let down" spot and the "trap" game. One set of criteria which we always use when making our decisions are Against The Spread (ATS) statistics.

This particular play is based on a few different factors:

As note that Fresno State has seen the total go UNDER the number in eight of 14 overall on the road this season, in five of seven non-conference games and in four of five road games where the total in the contest is set between 140 and 144 1/2, while TCU has seen the total go UNDER the number in seven of 12 non-conference contests and in six of ten after allowing 80 points or more.

The bottom line: The Bulldogs finished 20-12 in league action and had a six-game win streak snapped in the conference tournament to eventual winner Nevada on Friday. TCU was 19-15 on the year and had lost seven straight before bouncing back with wins over Oklahoma and Kansas in the conference tournament, before eventually falling to Iowa State on Friday. TCU has a big rebounding advantage and we're expecting the Horned Frogs to try and play to their strengths. All signs point to a slower-paced, lower-scoring UNDER.
