Result: Win
This is an 8* play on the UNDER between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Chicago Bulls.

We don't subscribe to any single handicapping methodology, but instead feel that being flexible with ones approach is the best way to secure profits over the longterm. Sometimes we keep it simple, while other times we'll take into account numerous different factors, like motivation, scheduling and significant injuries. Recognizing classic "spot bets" is something we always do as well, IE: the "look ahead" spot, the "let down" spot and the "trap" game. One set of criteria which we always use when making our decisions are Against The Spread (ATS) statistics.

This particular play is based on a few different factors:

As note that Cleveland has seen the total go UNDER the number in ten of 18 this year in trying to revenge a loss against an opponent, while Chicago has seen the total go UNDER in ten of its last 11 when playing with three days rest and in 21 of 36 at home overall this year.

The bottom line: The Cavs have already clinched the division, but they've fallen into second place overall in the East after dropping four of their last six. Suffice it to say, we're expecting Cleveland to come out highly focused tonight. In fact, one could argue that this is the Cavs most important game so far in the regular season. Chicago comes in having split its last six games and has so far taken all three against Cleveland this year. The Bulls only sit one game behind the Heat for the final playoff spot, so this one means just as much to them as it does to the Cavaliers. We're expecting a war and for this one to sneak UNDER the number once it's all said and done.
