NATIONAL LEAGUE *SLUG-FEST* (+$17,000 MLB LAST YEAR!)
(MLB) Atlanta vs. Pittsburgh,
Total: 7.50 | 110.00 Under
Result: Win
This is an 8* SLUG-FEST on the OVER between the Atlanta Braves and the Pittsburgh Pirates.

These teams played to a higher-scoring affair yesterday, with the Pirates holding on for the 5-4 series opening victory and we believe all signs point to another slug-fest this evening.

Chad Kuhl: He finished 5-4 with a 4.20 REA and 1.32 WHIP over 14 starts in his rookie season for the Pirates. Kuhl was supposed to start Thursday, but had it pushed back due to a rain out in Boston. Kuhl had planned for his entire family to be at the game: "I woke up (Thursday) really excited to get a chance to pitch against the Red Sox in Fenway. It's just one of those things. You've got to move on. You just get used to it in the game of baseball. When your family can make that trip, (a rainout) is always disappointing. I apologized. It seemed as though they had an all-right time in Boston. They enjoyed the trip, even though I didn't pitch." Kuhl hasn't even thrown a pitch yet and has already been distracted by off-field issues.

RA Dickey: He was 10-15 with a 4.46 ERA last year and struggled for the most part this spring.

The bottom line: Note that Pittsburgh has seen the total go OVER the number in three of its last four at home, while ATL has seen the total go OVER in interestingly, 33 of its last 50 games played on a Saturday. Play the OVER.
