AFTERNOON TRIPLE THREAT 3-PAK (OFF 3-0, 100% FRIDAY SWEEP!)
(NBA) Golden State vs. Portland,
Total: 217.00 | -108.00 Over
Result: Loss
This is an 8* play on the UNDER between the Golden State Warriors and the Portland Trailblazers.

We don't subscribe to any single handicapping methodology, but instead feel that being flexible with ones approach is the best way to secure profits over the longterm. Sometimes we keep it simple, while other times we'll take into account numerous different factors, like motivation, scheduling and significant injuries. Recognizing classic "spot bets" is something we always do as well, IE: the "look ahead" spot, the "let down" spot and the "trap" game. One set of criteria which we always use when making our decisions are Against The Spread (ATS) statistics.

This particular play is based on a few different factors:

As note that Golden State has seen the total go UNDER the number in 28 of 41 on the road this year, in two of three after allowing 85 points or less and in perhaps most importantly 20 of 35 this eason against poor defensive clubs with allow 106 plus points per game.

And note that Portland has seen the total go UNDER the number in seven of ten this season after three or more consecutive SU losses.

The bottom line: Golden State didn't have Kevin Durant in the line-up in Game 2 and it still won handily. Durant will be a game-time decision tonight. The Warriors have looked dominant on the defensive end so far in this series and the game-plan should once again be the same: slow down Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum and make the rest of the team beat them. Clearly that's not going to happen. All signs point to another lower-scoring UNDER.
