This is an 8* play on the UNDER between the New York Mets and the Texas Rangers.

Neither of these starting pitchers is going to win the Cy Young Award this season, but each has been pretty good to this point. We're expecting each to go deep and for this one to fall UNDER once it's all said and done:

Zach Wheeler: He's 3-3 with a 3.72 ERA. He most recently allowed two runs over six innings in an unfortunate loss to the Brewers on Thursday. Wheeler has now allowed just ten earned runs through 34 frames of work spanning six starts. Note that Wheeler has been solid on the road this year as well, 1-0 with a 3.22 ERA.

Yu Darvish: He's 5-4 with a 3.12 ERA. Darvish has for the most part exceeded expectations after his first full season back from Tommy John Surgery and note that he's been sharp in all home games thus far, going 3-2 with a 3.25 ERA.

The bottom line: We expect these competent starters to battle each other deep into the latter innings. Play the UNDER.
