This is a 10* BLOCKBUSTER on the UNDER between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Game 1 opened up with a big first half, but the Cavs would fade in the second and the total in that one stayed below the posted number. Game's 2 and 3 though have been much more wide open affairs and each has snuck above the number. We're a bit surprised that the Cavs didn't change up their strategy in Game 3 and try to slow the pace down a bit and protect the perimeter more. Cleveland though continues to look to get out and push the tempo, a game plan though which clearly favors Golden State. In a 3-0 hole, let's face it, it's too late for the Cavs to now try and make any real adjustments. However, the question must be asked: "Does Cleveland have any motivation left at this point, or if punched in the mouth early, will the team raise the white flag?" Klay Thompson had a huge game for Golden State in Game 3 and has said that when his team goes back to the Bay area, he wants it to be with trophy in hand. The Warriors can taste victory and after last years crushing collapse, there's no way the team will take the foot off the gas now. We believe the stage is now set for the "roughest/most contested" game of the series. Also note that Golden State has seen the total go UNDER the number in 18 of 28 road games this year when the total is greater than or equal to 220. The Cavs late collapse in Game 3 will be fresh on their minds and the defending champs won't be going down without a fight. When you add it all up, all signs do indeed point to the UNDER as the savvy move in this contest.
