Both pitchers started the season off hot and each has cooled off since. However, Justin Verlander has been a train-wreck on the road, while James Paxton has been almost unstoppable at home. All things considered, we feel this is the very definition of "great line value:"

Verlander: He's 4-4 with a 4.50 ERA. Verlander comes in off a win against the Rays on Thursday by allowing two runs off six hits and five walks while striking out six through seven innings. While he's been great at home, Verlander has posted a deplorable 7.22 ERA on the road this season.

Paxton: He's 5-2 with a 3.23 ERA. Paxton comes in off an outing to forget in which he gave up seven runs off seven hits while striking out four over 3.2 innings in a 10-4 loss to the Rangers on Friday. Paxton is 1-1 with a 5.14 ERA on the road, but 4-1 with a 2.08 ERA at home.

The bottom line: We like SEATTLE to build off last night's victory and take advantage of this favorable matchup.
