Result: Win
This is an 8* play on the OVER between Illinois and Iowa.

Illinois has seen the Over/Under go 1-3 so far, while Iowa has seen it go 1-4. Both teams have struggled with offensive consistency, but for a number of different reasons we think this number is just a little low. The Illini enter off a 28-6 loss at home to Nebraska, while the Hawkeyes come in off a 17-10 loss at Michigan State. When these teams met last year, it was Iowa that pulled away for the 28-0 victory on the road.

The Fighting Illini: So far they've averages just 18.2 PPG, which is ranked 114th. Illinois has also been bad on the defensive side of hte ball, ranked 71st in the country in conceding an average of 25.8 PPG. QB Chayce Crouch has 427 yards, one TD and four INT's thus far. Mike Epstein is the teams leading rushing with 263 yards, while Crouch is second with 93.

Iowa: THe Hawkeyes average 25.6 PPG and concede 19.2 QB Nathan Stanley has 1,038 yards, 12 TD's and just one INT. Against the Spartans he was 16 of 31 for 192 yards, one no TD's and no INT's.

The bottom line: Note that Illinois has seen the total go OVER the number in three of its last four road games when the total in the contest is set between 42.5 and 49, while Iowa has seen the total go OVER the number in five of its last six home games where the total is between 42.5 and 49. This number is just a little low, play the OVER.
