As note that Washington has seen the total go OVER the number in three of four this year after playing three consecutive road games, while Brooklyn has seen the total go OVER the number in seven of ten home games this season, in six of nine against clubs with winning records and in four of six after a loss by ten points or more (just lost 101-89 to Miami, after beating OKC 100-95.)
The bottom line: Brooklyn has no issues on the offensive end of the floor, most of it's problems arise on the defensive side. The Nets look to get back on track after a couple of sub-par offensive outings and a date against the Wizards is just what the doctor ordered. Washington continues to adjust without John Wall in the line-up and it too will be looking to get back into the winners circle after a tough 113-112 loss to the Clippers in its latest action. With each team pushing the pace, we do indeed look for this total to go OVER the number as the game comes down the stretch.
