German Marquez fanned nine in 7 1/3 innings to lift the Rockies to a 5-2 victory over the Giants at Coors Field in his last outing. His slider forced seven swings and misses, and was called for strikes 16 times. His fastball topped out at 97.8 mph and he looks great this season. The Rockies lead MLB with a .782 OPS and they should take advantage of Seattle's Justus Sheffield, who has a 9.39 ERA and 1.83 WHIP. Look for the Mariners to fall to 2-7 at home as we are on the ROCKIES here on Sunday evening.
