Portland has a heavy hype train right now, and I think it's actually really good for them - CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard will exploit the young defense of Detroit. Portland has a very good starting backcourt that gets them an average of 52 pts /game - and one of the better coaching staffs in the league as well as one of the better offensive rebounding teams in the NBA grabbing 11 /game as a team. As long as Portland is in a position to compete - they have guys who are always ready to go.



Jerami Grant is not a proven player that can carry Detroit - they are a young team - but I think they can do better, if they could shore up their terrible shot selection. I really thought the Pistons were going to be a little better than what we have seen this season, but they seem to have just gotten worse, winning only 31% of their games since early March. Grant isn't nearly enough of a playmaker and misses way too many open shots when needed.
