The Pistons are going to be one of the 3 worst teams in the Eastern Conference. The Bulls are boasting three players with the ability to average 20-plus points per game.

It won’t take long for the rest of the sports world to catch up and realize Chicago is no joke.

If Zach LaVine’s star status grows even brighter this season, we could potentially be looking at the making of a legitimate Eastern Conference contender. The last thing the Pistons wanted to see in the opener was a good defensive team considering they’re coming off a season where they averaged a pitiful 106.6 points and 45.2 percent shooting.

Lonzo Ball will be a significant lift on the defensive end of the floor, but he can also knock down the 3-pointer. So he’ll be another body on the court the Pistons have to account for defensively when they’re already trying to slow down Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic.
