We like the Texas State Bobcats to defeat the South Alabama Jaguars on Saturday at 4:00pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Texas State is a better team than a lot of people give them credit for.

The Bobcats are a top three point shooting team, averaging 37% which is tied for 44th best in Division One.

TXST is 10-5 over its L15 games played against South Alabama, going all the way back to over ten years ago in 2015.

USA has covered versus the spread just twice over its L8 games this season.

The Jaguars are also just 1-3 over its L4 'day' games against non-ranked teams.
