We like the Florida Gators to defeat the Louisiana State Tigers on Saturday at 6:00pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Florida has established itself as one of the top teams in College Basketball this season with its 23-3 record.

The Gators are 5-0 straight up and versus the spread over their L5 games this year.

They are also 9-3 against the spread over their L12 games played against Louisiana State.

LSU has been below average this year. Even though its won back-to-back games, it doesn't look good for LSU.

Since losing the last SEC game last year, the Tigers are 3-11 over their L14 games against opponents within the SEC.

The Tigers are also 2-12 when playing as an underdog this season.
