We like the San Francisco Giants to defeat the Houston Astros on Monday at 8:10pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

San Francisco will start Jordan Hicks today. He wasn't great last season, but started the year really well.

The Giants looked good in their opening series against the Reds winning two of three and scoring 14 runs.

Houston will start Ronel Blanco. He was great last season but we think this year he could regress.

The Astros also went 2-1 in the opening series but had some problems that must be pointed out.

They only averaged five hits a game over those three games.
