Our selection is on the Milwaukee Brewers to defeat the Miami Marlins on Saturday at 4:10pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Milwaukee will start Chad Patrick -- has a bad record but actually has good statistics this season.

The Brewers are 10-4 over their L14 games this year and are hunting down the Cubs in the NL Central.

They are also 6-3 over their L9 games against opponents within the National League.

Miami will start Cal Quantrill -- also has a losing record (same as Patrick) with much worse overall statistics.

The Marlins are just 14-22 at home this season against National League opponents.
