Virgina had their 8 game win streak snapped by a last second shot at Duke and have to believe that disappoint carries over a bit here. There's a big difference bouncing back off a loss and covering as double-digit home favorite. In fact the Cavaliers are 1-7 ATS as a favorite of 9.5 or more points and the only cover came verses their in-state rival Virginia Tech which they were playing with revenge losing at Blacksburg as a 12.5 point favorite on Jan 4th. NC St meanwhile is only 3-9 SU in conference action but they have covered 4 straight, they are 6-0 ATS on the season as an underdog of 6 points or more and are 4-0-1 ATS as a road dog. With Virginia having swept NC St last year and a game with Miami, Fl on deck (Miami & NC only 2 teams ahead of them in the standings) a win regardless of the score will suit them just fine. Too many points here and I'll back NC ST on Monday night.
