Maryland is a very motivated team that was AP #2 less than a month ago (Feb 8th), will still be a top 4 seed in the Tourney, playing off a loss knowing as well as the last time they were a double-digit favorite to one of the Big 10's bottom 3 teams they lost. The value is because of the recent poor play and it is obvious when you compare they in their last home loss to Wisconsin, which is now #26 in both polls, they were -9 points and now they are -15 to the conference 12th place team. Illinois meanwhile is 5-11 SU in conference action but while they are off a win they are 1-4 ATS the conference game after. The lone ATS cover off a SU win was a 9 point loss versus Wisconsin who was in a sandwich consisting of a road game at the B10's top team Michigan St and a road game at the B10's #2 team Iowa (not many teams would cover in that spot).
