AAA's MLB MID-CHALK CHOKE-OUT!
(MLB) Seattle vs. Philadelphia,
Money Line: -150.00 Seattle (Away)
Result: Win
This is an 8* MID-CHALK CHOKE-OUT on the Seattle Mariners.

The clear talent discrepancy on the mound absolutely justifies in laying what I deem to be a very reasonable mid-sized price. For the most part, the M's have been both solid on the road and at home this season, they're big time in the playoff mix right now and have in fact won 10 of their last 13. They'll be hungry here to get back into the winners circle after yesterday's 4-1 setback and send co-Ace Hisashi Iwakuma (11-6, 2.72 ERA) to the hill; Iwaukuma has been nothing short of electric of late, he's 3-1 with a tiny 1.27 ERA over his last four starts and sports a minusucle 0.84 ERA in his first three in August. Most recently Iwakuma scattered five hits with one walk over 6 2/3's innings in his team's 2-0 win over the Jays on Wednesday; note that the right-hander is 2-1 with a very respectable 1.95 ERA over his last four road starts (5-1 with a 2.82 ERA away from friendly confines overall in 2014). Iwakuma has dominated interleague action as well, he's thrown 14 scoreless frames over his last two such instances, which doesn't bode well for AJ Burnett (6-13, 4.35 ERA) and the Phillies. Burnett has been the very definition of a "gas can" since the All-Star break, going 0-5 with a brutal 6.54 ERA in six starts; most recently Burnett was shelled for four runs over six frames in a 4-3 loss to the Angels on Wednesday. I think Iwakuma and the Mariners are severly undervalued in this matchup; play on SEATTLE.
