AAA's SITUATIONAL PITCHING MISMATCH *Special!
(MLB) San Diego vs. LA Dodgers,
Money Line: -160.00 LA Dodgers (Home)
Result: Win
This is a 7* SITUATIONAL PITCHING MISMATCH on the LA Dodgers.

Zack Greinke's start was pushed back to Saturday, meaning Clayton Kershaw (14-3, 1.86 ERA) will take the hill; Kershaw is throwing on regular rest thanks to Monday's day off. Kershaw will certainly be motivated here as well, he's coming off a rare loss, giving up two home runs for the first time this season, striking out 11 in a 3-2 setback to the Brewers on Saturday; note though that the southpaw had posted a minuscule 1.16 ERA in winning his previous 11 decisions. A date vs. the Friars is just what the doctor ordered, he's won two straight vs. them, most recently striking out 11 in a three-hitter in a 2-1 win on July 10th (for the record he's 10-6 lifetime vs. San Diego). Kershaw's team will certainly be motivated as well, it's dropped five of seven after losing 4-1 yesterday (I had LA in that one unfortunately); note that the Dodgers' lead over the Giants has been reduced to just three games. The visitors counter with Tyson Ross (11-11, 2.70 ERA) who for the most part has been fantastic this year, but who is also coming off a sub-par effort, giving up three runs with four walks over six frames in a 4-2 loss at St. Louis (note that Ross is 2-4 with a pedestrian 3.44 ERA over his last six on the road). Ross has struggled against LA throughout his career as well, he's 0-3 in his last four vs. them. A highly motivated home side, the best pitcher in the league looking to rebound off a loss, in my opinion the writing is on the wall and all signs point to a lop-sided destruction; play on LA.
