AAA's 10* O/U EAST-COAST EXPRESS (NHL PROFITS CONT. TO CLIMB!)
(NHL) NY Islanders vs. Pittsburgh,
Total: 6.00 | 100.00 Over
Result: Win
This is a 10* O/U EAST-COAST EXPRESS on the UNDER between the New York Islanders and the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The Isles are 4-0 and have seen the total go OVER the number in all four contests. Suffice it to say, I think Pittsburgh slows down the visitors high-flying offense and these two normally offensively adroit teams play to a lower-scoring, grind it out battle where the total ultimately lands below the posted number. Another victory would mean New York's best start in franchise history; the team is good, but it's not that good, I think it has a letdown here. The Pens have also been getting the job done with a prolific offense which leads the NHL in power-play percentage thus far; unfortunately though Pittsburgh is among the league's worst on the penalty kill, something that captain Sidney Crosby knows his team will have to remedy very quickly: "They can score a lot of goals," assessed Sid The Kid. "Defensively they've tightened things up. They're getting some goaltending as well. I think all that is a big part of their success here. I think they're feeling pretty good about themselves right now." Marc-Andre Fleury can be brilliant at times and pretty pedestrian in others, his .890 save percentage is among the worst in the league, however backup Thomas Greiss had a 2.29 GAA in 25 games for the Coyotes last year. Jarsolav Halak has for the most part been pretty good for New York, he'll benefit from the expected absence of Pens winger Pascal Dupuis who was injured last time out. While the majority goes one way, we'll go the other and take the value pick; play on the UNDER.
