AAA's O/U INTERCONTINENTAL EXPRESS! 14-9 +$3,392 Y-T-D!
(NHL) Tampa Bay vs. Calgary,
Total: 5.50 | -120.00 Under
Result: Loss
This is an 8* O/U INTERCONTINENTAL EXPRESS on the OVER between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Calgary Flames.

The Flames have played to five straight UNDERS. Tampa is coming off a 3-2 loss at Edmonton last night (also an UNDER). Despite that, I believe both teams will open up the play tonight and look for this total to eclipse the number as the game comes down the stretch. Calgary comes in with high spirits and a ton of momentum, this is the first of five in front of the home town crowd after going 4-2-0 on the road which ended in a 4-1 beatdown of Winnipeg on Sunday. Keep your eyes on TJ Brodie who has seven points in seven games for the Flames. The Lightning lost defenseman Victor Hedman to injury in their win over the Canucks and would come up short against the determined and then winless Oilers last night. Tampa may be down, but it's certainly not out, it's loaded with talent and depth. Lightning goaltender Ben Bishop gave up three goals on 23 shots last night though; note that backup Evgeni Nabokov is 3-8-0 with a 3.19 GAA and .885 save percentage in his last 12 in Calgary. Newcomer Jonas Hiller is 2-2-0 with a .942 save percentage this year for the home side, but I think will have his hands full vs. this determined and dangerous Lightning team. Note that Tampa has seen the total go OVER the number in 20 of its last 28 non-conference games, while Calgary has seen it sail above the number in six of its last ten following a win by 2 goals or more. All signs do indeed point to the OVER as the sharp wager in this one.
