AAA's EARLY *Dolphins/Lions* BLOCKBUSTER (*$25 SUPER SPECIAL!*)
(NFL) Miami vs. Detroit,
Point Spread: -2.50 | -120.00 Detroit (Home)
Result: Win
This is an 8* BLOCKBUSTER on the Detroit Lions.

Off the franchise's most dominant win in nearly 20 years, I think the visitors take a step back today. The home side on the other hand has been severely injured over the last few weeks but has still been finding ways to win; and now with WR Calvin Johnson expected back in the line-up, all signs point to a comfortable ATS victory for Detroit today. Miami is coming off a very satisfying, albeit surprising, 37-0 victory over San Diego last Sunday. The Fish racked up a season-high 441 yards. Ryan Tannehill and the Miami offense has been great of late, but I think finally runs into a buzzsaw today; note that RB Lamar Miller, who is on pace for 1,000 yards this season, is listed as questionable because of a left shoulder injury. Miami's defense has also bee excellent, but once again, I'm expecting a regression here today vs. a Lions offensive unit that not only welcomes back Johnson, but also the versatile Reggie Bush. Detroit's defense is the best in the league, No. 1 in total yards allowed at just 290.4 per game and points allowed (15.8) per game. The Lions also have the huge advantage of coming off a timely bye week after storming back to beat Atlanta 22-21 in London (note that Detroit held the Falcons to just 80 yards and zero points after halftime). Matt Stafford has to be excited to see Mega-Tron lining up finally, but note that in the interim, he's found another "go to guy" in Golden Tate; Tate ranks fifth in the league with 55 receptions, fourth with 800 yards total and is coming off back-to-back 150-yard performances. Note that Miami is just 5-7 ATS in its last 12 games played on turf, while Detroit is 2-0 ATS the last two seasons after two weeks of rest. In my opinion, this line should in fact be a lot larger, play on the LIONS.
