AAA's WED NIGHT O/U PLATINUM CLUB SPECIAL! OFF 4-0 TUE SWEEP!
(NCAAF) Kent State vs. Bowling Green,
Total: 52.50 | -107.00 Under
Result: Loss
This is an 8* O/U PLATINUM CLUB SPECIAL on the OVER between Kent State and Bowling Green.

Neither of these teams has been lighting up the scoreboard of late, but I feel the conditions are right for a higher-scoring shootout and ultimately expect this total to eclipse the number as the game comes down the stretch. Kent State's QB's are a big banged up, freshman Nathan Strock suffered a concussion at NIU mid-season, while starter Colin Reardon has also had to deal with some nagging injuries. Head coach Paul Haynes on the issue: "Both of those guys are tough, hard-nosed guys,'' Haynes said. "But the problem with both of them is they are both banged up. Strock got banged up a little bit last week, and of course Colin has been dealing with an ankle, and his ribs the last couple of weeks. Both are banged up, but both know the offense. Both of those guys can control the offense, and I think you will see both of those guys will probably play.'' Note that Strock looked pretty good in coming off the bench in last week's 30-20 loss to Toledo, finishing 9 of 18 passing, 67 yards and two TD's. Defensively though the Flashes will have their hands full today, the Falcons love to run up to nearly 100 plays a game if possible and have only lost once at Doyt Perry Stadium this year. Note that Bowling Green ripped off 86 plays in 17 drives for a 27-10 win at Akron last week. And note that from a trend based stand point, this is definitely a sound play in my opinion as Kent State has seen the total go OVER the number in four of its last five after two or more losses, while Bowling Green has seen it sail above the number in its last three vs. teams with losing records. When taking all of the above factors into consideration, I think this number is just a little low; play on the OVER.
