The Edmonton Oilers are off to a fast start with three wins in their first four games. I think they'll run into trouble when taking on the St. Louis Blues at Rogers Place Thursday night though.
St. Louis had opened the season with three consecutive wins before a 2-1 overtime loss at Vancouver. They're 6-1 in the last seven meetings in Edmonton and I think we're getting a terrific price on the better team here. The Oilers have a lot of young talent and we'll get plenty of opportunities to back them this season, but this is not one of those times. The team is giving up way too many goals, and against a solid team like the Blues you can't afford to give up anything for free.
