The Lakers came very close to upsetting the Blazers in Portland on Monday, and they will be back home at the Staples Center tonight to play the Clippers. Technically the Clips are the home team, and they are asked to cover a double-digit spread. I like the Lakers as an underdog once again tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Kobe Bryant - He's completely changed his game, far more selective with his shots, and showing a lot more trust in his teammates. This bodes well for the Lakers.

2. Previous History - The Lakers are 8-1-1 ATS in their last 10 vs. Western Conference.

3. X-Factor - The Clippers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. Western Conference.
