The Atlanta Hawks are coming off a double-digit road win at Minnesota, and they are a hefty road favorite in Boston tonight. They should be looking to go into the All Star break on a positive note, and I can't see them having much trouble covering single-digits against a below average opponent here. The Celtics have won three of their last four, but those wins came against the likes of Philadelphia, Denver and New York.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Road Warriors - The Hawks have not had much trouble picking up wins on the road this season, with a record of 18-7 away from Atlanta. They've been a good bet against the league's worst teams, covering in five straight road games versus teams with a losing record.
2. Celtics Well Rested - Boston hasn't played since a 96-93 loss at Milwaukee on Saturday, but rest hasn't helped matters recently. Boston is just 2-6 ATS in it's last eight when playing on three days rest.
3. X-Factor - The Celtics better keep a close eye on Kyle Korver, he's an unbelievable 14-of-18 from three-point range in his last three versus Boston.
Selection: This is a play on the Atlanta Hawks (1*)
