The Miami Heat will have to get used to life without Chris Bosh, as he's done for the year with blood clots on his lungs. His absence didn't stop the Heat from crushing the Knicks in New York on Friday. They followed that up with a loss at home to New Orleans, but tonight's game against the lowly Sixers looks like a good spot for Miami to bounce back.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Home Cookin' - Miami's home record isn't all that impressive (9-16), but the Sixers have really struggled on the road, with just five wins in 28 games outside of Philly.
2. Hassan Whiteside - The 25 year old center has owned the board, averaging 12 rebounds per game for Miami. He pulled down 16 boards, scoring 11 points in 30 minutes against New Orleans Saturday. He should have a field day at home against Philly.
3. X-Factor - The Heat did not look impressive in their home loss to New Orleans on Saturday, but they've covered the spread in five of their last six when coming off a double-digit home loss.
Selection: This is a play on the Miami Heat (8*)
