The Oklahoma City Thunder needed overtime to sneak past the Sixers at home on Wednesday, and they head out on the road to play a tough back-to-back at Chicago. Russell Westbrook went off for 49 points in last night's victory, and recorded his fourth consecutive triple-double. It might be a tough ask for a repeat performance here in Chicago just 24 hours later though.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Home Cookin' - The Thunder have lost two of their last three on the road, and own a road record of 14-19 overall this season. They haven't had a lot of success versus Eastern Conference teams in recent weeks, going 2-5 ATS in their last seven against teams from the East. Despite their injury woes, Chicago has won five of it's last seven at home
2. Fatigue - In addition to playing with a fractured bone in his face, Russell Westbrook also played a whopping 42 minutes last night. Coming off an overtime game at home to play on back-to-back nights on the road appears to be a tough spot, and he might see his minutes limited here tonight.
3. X-Factor - The Thunder are 5-14 ATS in their last 19 road games vs. a team with a winning home record.
Selection: This is a play on the Chicago Bulls 10*
