The Arizona Coyotes are coming into this contest on the back of 10 consecutive regulation losses. They host a Canucks team that hasn't had any trouble lighting the lamp lately, but hasn't had a lot of success keeping the puck out of their own net. We should see plenty of scoring in tonight's game.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Goaltending - Jakub Markstrom made his debut for the Canucks on Tuesday, and it did not go well. He surrendered three goals on four shots before being pulled in favor of Eddie Lack. With Ryan Miller sidelined by an injury, Lack is now the preferred option, but he's been lit up for 10 goals in his last two starts.
2. Previous History - The Canucks thrashed the Coyotes in a 7-1 blowout in in the most recent meeting between these two teams, and the over is 7-1-3 in their last 11 games versus Western Conference foes.
3. X-Factor - Henrik Sedin is leading the Nucks with his 59 points and is currently on an eight game point streak over which he has tallied six goals and seven assists.
Selection: This is a play on VAN@ARZ to go OVER the total
