The Coach's Friday NBA Trifecta
(NBA) Cleveland vs. Atlanta,
Point Spread: 1.50 | -107.00 Atlanta (Home)
Result: Win
Point Spread: 1.50 | -107.00 Atlanta (Home)
Result: Win
The Cleveland Cavaliers have certainly impressed over the last several weeks, but it looks as if the hype has gotten a little out of control. The Cavs are in Atlanta tonight, coming in as road favorites against the top team in the Eastern Conference. In fact the Hawks are the top team in the entire league, and yet they are getting points on their home court tonight.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Home Cookin' - The Cavs are just one game above .500 on the road, while the Hawks boast a home record of 28-4 (the best in the NBA). Atlanta has won and covered in four straight home meetings with Cleveland dating back to 2013.
2. Fatigue - The Hawks are well rested having had a couple days off since their win over Houston on Tuesday. The Cavs are playing their third game in four nights after winning in the second game of a back-to-back at Toronto on Wednesday.
3. X-Factor - The Hawks are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 at home against teams with a winning record, while the Cavs are 4-14 ATS in their last 14 road games versus teams with a winning record.
Selection: This is a play on the Atlanta Hawks(10*)
