The Richmond Spiders will take on VCU in the A-10 Conference Tournament Quarterfinals Friday afternoon, and the Spiders appear to have momentum on their side. Richmond comes in on a five game winning streak, while the Rams have lost three of their last five. The Spiders are actually a slight underdog here, and my money is on the hot team.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Previous History - The Spiders swept the season series, and they are 13-3-1 ATS in their last 17 games overall. The Rams on the other hand have failed to cover in six straight.

2. Injuries - The Rams lost a key player midway through a loss at Richmond in January when Briante Weber suffered a season ending knee injury. They've been in a downward spiral ever since.

3. X-Factor - The Spiders are 9-1-1 ATS in their last 11 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record.
