1* free play on Jays@Indians to go over the total....
The Toronto Blue Jays and the Cleveland Indians have been involved in some high scoring games lately. Toronto owns the most potent offense in the majors, yet sits in the cellar in the AL East. The Jays have been plagued by poor pitching, both from it's starters as well as the bullpen. We might just see another slugfest in Cleveland Sunday.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Pitching - Drew Hutchison will be on the mound for the Blue Jays, and he's coming off a rough outing. Hutchison (2-0, 6.67 ERA) has surrendered 13 runs on 17 hits over 8 1/3 innings in his last two starts on the road. The Tribe will counter with 24 year old Trevor Bauer, who is coming off consecutive no decisions. Bauer allowed three runs on seven hits over six frames in an 11-5 loss to the Royals in his latest outing.
2. Heavy Hitters - The Jays have two of the top 10 home run hitters in the American League. Now if that doesn't impress you, I should mention that neither of them are named Bautista or Encarnacion. However the Jays more well known sluggers aren't far behind Devin Travis and newcomer Josh Donaldson.
3. X-Factor - Toronto has seen 10-of-14 road games go over, while the Indians have seen the total go over in six of their last seven at home.
