The Brewers come into St. Louis tonight as losers of seven of their last eight overall, and they might be a little worse for wear after playing 17 innings in a 7-6 win over Arizona last night. The Cardinals are off to their best home start in history with a record of 20-6, and I like their chances of adding to those numbers here tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Cardinals hand the ball to Jaime Garcia, who picked up a win in his last start. Garcia (1-1, 3.46 ERA) surrendered four runs on eight hits over five frames in a home win over Arizona. He's making just his third start of the season, but it's not the first time he's faced the Brewers. He's 6-4 with a 3.39 ERA in 14 starts against Milwaukee in his career. The Brewers counter with Mike Fiers, who is win-less in his last five starts.

2. Batter vs. Pitcher - Johnny Peralta is hitting .545 with a home run and three RBIs in 11 career at bats versus Fiers.

3. X-Factor - If Garcia falters the Cardinals can turn to the National League's best bullpen that owns an ERA of 2.21 so far this season.
