The Royals have split the first two games of this home series versus Boston, but I like Kansas City in the rubber match on Sunday. The Royals have won nine of their last 13 overall, while Boston has won just three of it's last 12.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Pitching - The Red Sox send Wade Miley to the mound, and the southpaw has been having a rough season. Miley (6-6, 4.88 ERA) gave up a pair of runs on five hits over 6.1 frames in a home win over Atlanta in his last outing. He's struggled on the road though, going 2-4 with a 5.82 ERA in seven starts away from Fenway. The Royals counter with veteran right-hander Chris Young, who is 4-1 with a 2.42 ERA at home this season.
2. Salvador Perez - The Royals catcher hit a home run last night, and he's 3-for-3 with three RBIs lifetime versus Miley.
3. X-Factor - Kansas City owns the best bullpen in the American League with an ERA of 1.97.
Selection: This is a play on the Kansas City Royals (10*)
