The Philadelphia Eagles were quite impressive in their first game of the pre-season, defeating the Colts by a score of 36-10. They've now won three straight exhibition games at home, and they've scored an average of over 35 points in those three games. Philly will host the Ravens tonight, and you have to like Chip Kelly's Eagles.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Quarterbacks - Both teams are deep at the quarterback position, especially Philadelphia who will likely lean heavily on second string pivot Mark Sanchez. The Eagles have been impressed with Sanchez in training camp, and he threw for 11 TDs and just one INT in practices. The starting job is Sam Bradford's to lose, and he should make his first start for the team tonight.
2. Coaching Philosophy - Kelly will want to get new QB Sam Bradford as much time with the starting offense as he can, to prepare him for the regular season. Chip has never been known to be conservative, so he may leave his starters in the game longer than Harbaugh.
3. X-Factor - Former Oregon Duck Kenjon Barner ran for 29 yards and a TD, and also had a 92 yard punt return for a TD in Week 1.
Selection: This is a play on the Philadelphia Eagles (8*)
