The Jay Cutler era has been nothing short of a disaster in Chicago. In fact most people didn't think Cutler could come back for another season with the Bears after what happened last year. Here we are in Week 2, and the same old issues continue to plague the struggling quarterback. It won't get any easier this week against a tough Arizona defense.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Carson Palmer - The veteran quarterback threw for 307 yards and three scores in a win over New Orleans last week. The Cardinals are 7-0 in his last seven starts, and he's thrown 14 TD passes and just three picks in those games.
2. Arizona Defense - The Bears had to be encouraged by Matt Forte's 141 yards on 24 carries last week, but don't expect him to repeat that here on Sunday. This defense ranked first in the NFL against the run in 2013, dropped off slightly with a few injuries last year, and after Week 1 they rank first so far this year.
3. X-Factor - The Cardinals are 14-3 ATS in their last 17 vs. a team with a losing record.
Selection: This is a play on the Arizona Cardinals (8*)
