*10* SURE SHOT LA Clippers.
The Golden State Warriors have started their title-defending season in style with four straight wins. They've covered the spread in each game despite playing New Orleans x 2, Houston and Memphis. Tonight they'll face another tough opponent in Pacific Division rivals Los Angeles Clippers who are undefeated so far this season as well. The Warriors are coming in as a rather hefty favorite, but I like the Clippers to cover the spread and threaten to win outright.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Letdown Spot - The Warriors have blown opponents away in each win despite and absolutely annihilated the Grizzlies in a 119-69 route Monday. Wins won't come this easy all season though, and the Warriors might find it tough to motivate themselves after such a dominant win.
2. DeAndre Jordan - The Clippers' center should dominate the paint as Golden State's Andrew Bogut is still working through the NBA's concussion protocol after getting injured against the Pelicans on Oct. 27. Jordan has averaged 13.5 boards per game so far and he's just 12 rebounds away from tying Elton Brand's franchise record of 4,710.
3. X-Factor - The Warriors are a strong home-team, but let's not forget that the Clippers are 16-5-1 ATS in their last 22 road games.
Selection: This is a play on the Los Angeles Clippers (10*)
