*10* Coach's Clinic Detroit Pistons.
The Detroit Pistons suffered their first defeat of the season when they lost 94-82 to Indiana Tuesday. They'll open a six-game road-trip by with a visit to Talking Stick Resort Arena to take on the Phoenix Suns Friday night, and I think the Pistons are coming into this game underrated.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Situational - The Pistons may have lost big their last game, but they've been good at bouncing back from sub-par performances in the past. Detroit is 10-1 ATS in its last 11 games following a SU loss of more than 10 points and it has covered each of the last six meetings with Phoenix.
2. Andre Drummond - The Pistons' center was 12-of-17 from the field with 25 points and 29 boards in the loss to Indiana. He's averaging 19.5 rebounds per game and is a big reason why the Pistons ranks top of the league in that category.
3. X-Factor - Marcus Morris will face the Suns for the first time since getting traded over the summer. He's off to a good start with his new club averaging 17.3 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.
Selection: This is a play on the Detroit Pistons
