*8* play on the Dallas Stars.
The Dallas Stars had a three-game winning streak ended when they lost 3-2 at home against Toronto Tuesday. They're still sitting top of the Western Conference though, and I like the price we get on them when hosting Pacific Division rival the Winnipeg Jets tonight.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. The Stars' Offense - Dallas is the second highest scoring team in the league at 3.5 goals per game and it has the second most effective power play unit that converts on 28.6% of the chances. Winnipeg is giving up more power plays than any other team in the NHL, so we can expect Dallas to get plenty of opportunities to play with an extra skater on the ice.
2. Are The Jets Out Of Fuel? - Winnipeg started the season strong but it has won only one of the last five games, with just a total of six goals scored through the four losses.
3. X-Factor - Tyler Seguin is tied with Patrick Kane for first at 23 points for the season. He and Jamie Benn have combined for the most goals (19) and points (44) by a set of two teammates this season.
Selection: This is a play on the Dallas Stars (8*)
