The Temple Owls are coming off a 44-23 loss to South Florida, but they will have a chance to get back on track at home this week against Memphis. The Tigers failed to hang on to a double-digit lead on the road at Houston last week, losing a thriller to the Cougars. As exciting as Memphis is, it's defense isn't good enough to compete with good teams on the road.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Home Cookin' - The Tigers are 3-12-1 ATS in their last 16 games on grass, and the Owls are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 home games.

2. Paxton Lynch - The Memphis quarterback has only thrown three interceptions this season, but two of those have come in his last two games. His 278 passing yards last week were a season low. Lynch is facing a tough Owls defense, that has only allowed an average of 21 points per game, ranking 27th nationally.

3. X-Factor - The Owls defense ranks 7th nationally with 15 interceptions on opposing quarterbacks this season.
