The Creighton Blue Jays are 3-1, and they bounced back from 21-point loss to Indiana by beating Rutgers 85-75 on Monday. They will face the Massachusetts Minutemen in Las Vegas tonight, and I think UMASS is a little overrated after a 4-0 start.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - The Minutemen haven't really played anybody yet, so it's difficult to read much into their perfect 4-0 start. They've only covered twice in their last seven overall, and have failed to cover in six of their last seven versus opponents from the Big East.
2. Cole Huff - The junior forward was feeling the hot hand in the Blue Jays win over Rutgers, scoring 26 points on 10-of-19 shooting. He was also 4-of-9 from beyond the arc, and he's shooting 51.1 percent so far this season.
3. X-Factor - The Blue Jays are 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games overall.
