*10* Total Of Month on UNDER Panthers/Saints.

The Carolina Panthers just keep rolling, coming into this weekend as the NFL's last unbeaten team. They face a struggling Saints team that has lost three in a row, and I expect the Panthers defense to give Drew Brees plenty of problems here in New Orleans. The total for this game looks a little too high, and my money is on the under.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Carolina Defense - The Panthers rank 2nd in the NFL in total defense, allowing opponents to average just 18.6 points per game. They've allowed an average of just 13 points in their last three games, wins over Dallas, Washington and Tennessee.

2. Previous History - The Saints haven't been nearly as prolific on offense this year than what we've seen in previous seasons. In fact they've failed to reach the total in five straight home games versus teams with a winning record.

3. X-Factor - The Under is 10-3 in Panthers last 13 vs. NFC South.
