*10* Total MASSACRE on UNDER Oilers/Canucks.

The NHL teams are back from the holiday break, and I got my eyes on the Western Canadian match-up between the Vancouver Canucks and the Edmonton Oilers. Only three points separates the two Pacific division foes in the standings, and I think we'll see a tight low-scoring contest.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Edmonton's Goalscoring Woes - The Oilers recorded a 3-1 win at home against Winnipeg Monday, but they have mustered just five regulation-goals in their last five on the road.

2. Special Teams - The Nucks have failed to score on the man advantage in each of their last six games and the Oilers have only one power play goal in their last five. Goals on the man advantage won't come easy for the Oilers here as Vancouver managed to successfully ride out nine of 10 shorthanded situations in Tuesday's 2-1 win against Tampa Bay.

3. X-Factor - The Oilers defeated the Nucks 2-1 in OT on Oct. 18 in the only previous meeting this season.
