*10* SURE SHOT on Montreal Canadiens.
The Montreal Canadiens won just three games through the month of December, but they opened the new year with an impressive 5-1 win at Boston in the Winter Classic, and I think we're getting a terrific price on the Habs when they visit the Philadelphia Flyers Tuesday night.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Change in Momentum - The Habs have won two of their last three overall while the Flyers are mired in a three-game slump with just one win over their last five.
2. The Return Of Brendan Gallagher - The Habs right-wing had missed more than a month with two broken fingers on his left hand but was back in action Friday and contributed with a goal and an assist right away. The impact of his return should not be underestimated as Montreal is 17-4-2 with Gallagher in the team this season.
3. X-Factor - Philadelphia is second-worst in the league in scoring at 2.11 goals per game and it has just five tallies over its last three overall, with two of those goals coming on the man advantage.
Selection: This is a play on the Montreal Canadiens (10*)
