*8* play on Washington Wizards.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are coming into this game looking to extend a four-game winning streak as they visit the Wizards at Washington. The underdog is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 head-to-head meetings though, and I like the Wizards chances of recording an upset tonight.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Road Woes - Cleveland is off back-to-back blowout home wins against Orlando and Toronto, but it had defeated the lowly Suns and Nuggets by just a combined 10 points in its last two on the road prior to that homestand. It is just 1-9-1 ATS in its last 11 when visiting a team with a losing home record.
2. John Wall - The Wizards' point guard averaged 22.6 points and 11.7 assists in December to earn East player of the month honors. That included a 35 points and 10 assists performance in the 97-85 win at Cleveland on Dec. 1.
3. X-Factor - Washington put up an abysmal performance in Sunday's 97-75 loss against Miami, but it's 9-1 ATS in its last 10 games following a straight up loss and 9-2 ATS in its last 11 games playing on two days rest.
Selection: This is a a play on the Washington Wizards (8*)
