*10* play on UNDER Suns/Pacers.
The Indiana Pacers will be going for a fourth win in six games when hosting the Phoenix Suns Tuesday night. The lowly Suns ended a nine-game skid with a 111-102 win against Charlotte last Wednesday but were back to their losing ways with a 103-95 loss against the Heat just two days later. I think they'll struggle with the Pacers defense here and expect a low-scoring contest.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Indiana's Defense - The Pacers have held three of their last five opponents to fewer than 90 points, with the games against the Heat and the Rockets needing overtime to cross the 200 total points mark. They've held opponents to 38.9% shooting from the field in that stretch and the under is 11-4 in the Pacers last 15 overall.
2. Situational - Seven of the Pacers last eight games in front of the home-town crowd have gone under the total and with a game against the Celtics in Boston on deck tomorrow I don't expect them to put up much of a show tonight either but rather just do enough to earn a win.
3. X-Factor - Phoenix has averaged only 97.1 points per game over its last six after scoring 104.8 over its first 28. A season-ending injury to Eric Bledsoe has not helped matters.
Selection: This is a play on PHO@IND to go UNDER the total (10*)
