*10* Total DOMINATION on UNDER Packers/Cardinals.
The Green Bay Packers struggling offense came to life last week in Washington, but perhaps that shouldn't be very surprising considering that the Redskins ranked near the bottom of the league defensively. This week's divisional game against the Arizona Cardinals may prove to be a completely different story. It seems like the bookmakers expect both teams to do their fair share of scoring, with an inflated total here in Arizona. My money is on the under.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - These teams played here in Arizona just a few weeks ago, and the Cardinals defense held Aaron Rodgers to just 151 yards with a TD and an INT on 15-of-28 passing. Rodgers was sacked eight times in the 38-8 loss. Four of the last five meetings in Arizona have failed to reach the total.
2. Defense - The Packers really faded in the second half of the regular season, but it was not their defense that was the problem. They actually excelled against the pass, ranking 6th overall allowing opponents to average 228 yards per game in the ari. The Cardinals were right behind them, allowing an average of 230 passing yards per game.
3. X-Factor - The Under is 10-4 in Packers last 14 games overall.
Selection: This is a play on the Packers@Cardinals to go UNDER the total (10*)
