*10* SURE SHOT on Dallas Mavericks.
The Dallas Mavericks are back in Texas following an 83-77 win at Chicago Friday, but they're not home yet as they'll pay a visit to the San Antonio Spurs before returning to Dallas for a three-game home-stand. The Mavs almost upset the Spurs home at American Airlines Center earlier in the season, and I think they'll keep this a close game as well.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. San Antonio's Signs Of Slowing Down At Home - The Spurs have won each of their 23 home-games this season outscoring opponents by and average of 15.6 points. They've won their last two there against the Kings and Knicks by a total of just of five points though, and they're 2-5 ATS in their last seven when hosting a team with a winning road record.
2. Previous Meetings - The Mavs have covered the spread in nine of the last 12 meetings overall and six of the last eight at AT&T Center.
3. X-Factor - Dallas' Dirk Nowitzki scored 21 points against the Bulls Friday and has 20 or more in five of his last six games.
Selection: This is a play on the Dallas Mavericks (10*)
